Ken is a native of Okmulgee, in northeastern Oklahoma and now lives in Edmond. His education includes a degree in advertising with a minor in art and sociology from Oklahoma State University. Besides his work as a freelance photographer, he has captured an extensive selection of images as a commercial photographer for the petroleum, communications, electric utility and agriculture industries. He has an eye for color and composition, and looks for ways to complement the subject with interesting lighting and vantage points. A boater and camper, runner, youth baseball coach, Scout leader, and retired Army Reserve master sergeant, Ken is intimately familiar with the state’s people and events, activities and industries. He is enamored by the diverse beauty of Oklahoma’s golden sunsets, rolling prairies, vast waterways and deep green forestlands. Needless to say, Ken’s photographs cover a wide variety of subjects.
